1 YEAR OLD!!!

I seems like it was just yesterday that I was having contractions and headed to the hospital to welcome our 4th baby into the world. I truly cannot believe that Zander is already 1 year old! He has been such a joy to have in our family! He is such a sweet and fun little boy! I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to be his mom. He is now walking everywhere (he has the bumps and bruises on his head to prove it), climbs up on the dishwasher anytime it is open, eating regular people food, beginning to say some words (mama, dada, uh-oh), and SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! It is amazing the changes that they go through that first year . . . from not being able to do anything to being able to walk, talk, and feed themselves. It is crazy!

We had a little party with our family. Zander opened presents (if you can even call it that). He had no interest in opening anything. Since we aren't real big cake eaters at this house I made cupcakes and put them in the shape of a 1. Then Zander got to blow out the candle to his cupcake. Although he didn't have a clue how to blow it out so he touched it instead! Crazy kid! He loved his cupcake and dove right into it!
