Trey has been dying to go sturgeon fishing with Matt and Jim (Matt's fishing buddy) so he took it upon himself, called Jim and found a day when Jim could take him. Trey was so excited all day Friday he could hardly contain himself. Jim invited Chase to go as well. They had a blast and caught several sturgeon...a couple almost 4 footers (you can keep 4-5 footers) and then Trey caught the daddy of them all that night! An 8 FOOT sturgeon!!! Yes, I said 8 FOOT! Of course, it was a bit too heavy (weighing around 300 pounds) for Trey so Matt held the pole and had Trey reel in. They fought the fish for over an hour. Trey was so excited to catch athe BIG one for the day!
