Last week the boys finished a two week stint of swimming lessons. Trey and Layton were in the same class and learned how to do back and front floats along with kicking and dunking their faces. Layton is quite afraid of the water so this was a good experience for him. It has made a big difference already. Chase learned the different strokes (back, crawl, breast, and butterfly) along with rotary breathing. After some of the lessons they were allowed to float in the lazy river. They all loved floating in there and playing tag.
Swimming is an important skill to know. I am glad that you realize this and are having your kids take lessons. It is time and money well spent. Through the years, we spent a lot of both time & $ on lessons and I am so glad that we did.
1+1=9, at least in our case it does. We have 7 kids (6 active boys and 1 sweet and just as active girl). Our 5 acre farm with horses, cows, sheep, goats, turkeys, 1 dog, and who knows how many cats is HOME! We enjoy the outdoors and spending time together. Follow us in our crazy adventures.

Good job for doing the swimming lessons. I think that is good for kids.
