My new nephew was born in the early hours of October 2nd in Boise. I was anxious to meet the little guy so I decided that the boys and I would make a quick trip to Boise to see baby Maxton. We got to the hospital around 6:30 and visited with Jeff and Amy, held Maxton, and then went on to Papa and Mama Barnes' house to stay the night. I have to say that seeing little Maxton made me anxious in some ways to have McKay here, but it also made me think "What am I doing?" I don't know if I am quite ready for the lack of sleep, the postpartum aches, etc. I am also worried about how things are going to go with Zander...he is still a baby himself and he is quite the busy little guy. I am excited to hold a newborn again though. They are such precious gifts from heaven. The boys really were happy to be holding Maxton...I don't know why they look so grumpy.

The next day we ran to some stores and then met Jill and her kids at a park for lunch and some fun! Papa even joined us for a little while before heading back to work! It was a fun park with all kinds of neat toys (fake rocks to climb, giant musical instruments, etc). It was good for the boys to spend some time with their cousins and uncle Jaron. Thanks for a great time everyone!

That looks like a fun weekend! I bet it is nice being a little bit closer to home.
Looks like you had a fun trip. It won't be long now until you have your little guy born! You are such a great mom, McKay is going to be a lucky baby.
It's nice you live close enough to Boise that you can decide to do that!! Good luck in the next few weeks, I hope it all goes smoothly for you both.
It was fun at the park and it is always good to see you and your family. Tell Matt that we missed him! I didn't realize that the rock picture with Jaron trying to do the handstand was with your camera?!?!
I ditto Julie's comments. McKay is lucky to have you as a mother. Moreover, to be coming to the Yearsley family. You have a great family!
That was a fun day at the park.
Glad you came.
