Christmas

I am finally getting around to posting about our Christmas. I would have done it sooner but we got hit with a big wind storm Christmas Eve and it blew our internet satelite down. Christmas eve night consisted of making "build your own pizzas". The boys love doing this and voted for this to be our Christmas eve dinner tradition along with italian sodas (yum). After dinner we put on our socks (thank you Grandma Yearsley) and read the Christmas story. Then it was time for the kiddos to head to bed. The wind was howling all night and we woke up to HUGE drifts around our house, luckily Santa was still able to get in! The boys came in and woke us up at 7:30 and we started opening up gifts. The boys were so excited to get paintball guns, a bb gun, a bouncing pony, RC cars, etc. We have much to be thankful for. After opening gifts we had our traditional "mountain man breakfast". We went outside to play in the snow and see how badly we were drifted in. Matt tried to back his truck out and ended up getting the back end of his pickup stuck. We were snowed in (thankfully we were plowed out the day after by someone from the ward)! The rest of our day was spent playing with new toys, relaxing, and just enjoying each other. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
