After months of taking a break (due to the move, baby, etc) I finally started clipping coupons and playing the grocery game again. Yesterday I hit an awesome sale at Albertsons and scored BIG! They were having a huge sale on Betty Crocker and Pillsbury stuff . . . buy 10 qualifying items and get a $10 coupon to use on your next purchase plus I had coupons for several of the items I was purchasing. With shopping list and coupons in hand I loaded Zander and McKay into the cart and started shopping. I got some funny looks from some people, but who cares . . . I was saving $$$!
I ended up purchasing 11 tubs of frosting, 4 pillsbury cinnamon rolls, 9 Pillsbury Grands biscuits, 2 Pillsbury crescent rolls, 6 boxes of fruit gushers, 6 Betty Crocker cookie mixes, 3 bags of Chex mix, 9 boxes of Lucky Charms, 6 cans of Progresso soup, 24 boxes of cake mix, 25 lbs of sugar, and a package of blueberries.

$65.19Total Savings:
$192.36 (almost a 75% savings)Thank you Albertsons for running such a great sale!!

Isn't it so fun to save money!! You did awesome, I am pretty sure that you did better than I did, but you are a pro at it. I wish that we could have gone shopping together.
