Snakes
So this past week the boys have caught more than 25 snakes! Yes, SNAKES!! Only boys would bring home snakes to show their mom, lucky me. They have been loving it though. They go out along the ditch line and find at least 3 a day (no joke). I even turned up a couple when I was using the weedwhacker on the edge of the yard...yuk! Zander has gotten in on the fun and loves it when the boys catch the snakes. I was so surprised to see that he has no fear of the snakes. He carries them around like they are toys. Jordan and his friend got to be part of the fun with snakes when they came for Layton's birthday. Jordan wasn't too thrilled to see or smell the snakes. By the way, did you know that snakes stink?!? I didn't know that they stink. And I have found the bigger they are the WORSE they stink...I love my supernose. I am hoping the novelty of the snakes will wear off for everyone, but I am afraid that snake catching is going to be the favorite summer activity. Fun stuff!

Me too! I'm glad it's you and not me! ... It was so fun to see you guys on Monday!
How fun for you! Im' afraid I wouldn't enjoy that at all! We catch tiny lizard's every now and then. That's it though.
5 boys + farm living = a life filled with countless creatures!

Oh my....that gave me the creeps! I do not enjoy creepy, crawly things! Glad to see they do though, macho boys! :)
Oh Janae, you are going to have a fun, smelly summer! I can't believe they caught more than 25 snakes! That is creepy!! I am deathly afraid of snakes. Good luck my friend.
