Baled Hay = Hard Work

A friend from the ward was kind enough to come bale our 3 acres of pasture and 4 acres of a neighbor's hay (which he kindly gave us--he was going to let it die). So we got the awesome priviledge of bucking the bales by hand onto the trailer. Doug and Kathryn drove over to help us, a HUGE thank you goes out to them!! We wouldn't have been able to finish it without them and our neighbor, Ben. Trey got to drive the truck and trailer while the bigger people bucked bales onto the moving trailer. There was only one scary moment when he was caught with bales surrounding him and almost crashed! Chase also got to help drive the truck at times...I must say that I am not anyway near ready for them to start driving on the road. Good thing it is several years away. We finished loading the hay at about 11pm and then had italian sodas and junk food. I am so glad that it is DONE....we were so sore and exhausted, but it will be so nice to have the feed for the animals!
