General Conference Sunday found us with SNOW! I don't know what it is about this part of Idaho and October snow, but I don't like it! The boys on the other hand loved it! They spent most of the day, when not watching conference, out in the snow. I am happy to report that the snow was gone the next day. Now hopefully it will stay away until Christmas eve (a girl can hope, right?!)
As November nears it is getting about time to butcher the turkeys. They are getting huge! And they know it! Last weekend they were chasing Layton around the pasture. They also made a meal out of his sweatshirt that he left hanging on the fence. Jenessa was brave and ventured out with the turkeys too. They are fun animals to have around.
Chase's football season is nearing the end (two more games to go). His team has done so well--undefeated thus far. He enjoys playing and does very well. He is proud of all the bruises that he gets from blocking. Crazy boy! Thank you to those who have driven over to watch him play. I know it means a lot to him.
We are so close to being done with all of the remodel/addition stuff that we can taste it. We will be so glad to be finished and able to sit down without feeling guilty that we aren't working on something. We love how it has turned out and are so glad that we did it! The fridge is FINALLY in the kitchen where it belongs. We still catch ourselves heading to the laundry room when we need something from the fridge. There will be a whole post on the house soon, but I will include a small spoiler. :)

So nice to see an update. You have a great place for boys to grow up.(animals, early snows, hunting etc) Now with the nice, big kitchen and great room, it is a great place for a mom to manage a family of 7. You guys have done a tremendous job on the addition!
