Chase's birthday

December 4th my first baby turned 11! It is really strange to think that I have an 11 year old already. I don't feel old enough to have a kid 11 years old. One more year and he will be passing the sacrament . . .EEK! I went to the school at lunch time to get Chase for a surprise lunch. I let him choose where he wanted to eat--his choice was Upper Crust (yummy). He had an Applewood Bacon Burger and super yummy fries. When Matt got home from his week working in Othello we had dinner of Ranch cheese pizza, Layered Cranberry Jello salad, and soda (all by request of the birthday boy). Presents were opened after dinner. He got a digital watch, money, some clothes, BB's, spinning toys, and a dart board. He was pretty excited about all of his gifts. After gifts we watched UP before sending everyone to bed. The next day Grandpa & Grandma Yearsley drove down from Hamer to visit. Doug & Kathryn came over from Gooding. Chase opened some more presents--fishing pole, horse things (not quite sure the names of them), and lures & bobbers. The men and older boys braved the freezing weather and wind to hunt pheasants while the ladies and two younger boys hung out at home. We had Baskin Robbins Ice Cream cake before everyone left. The cake was yummy but I will definitely be making the next one and save some $. We are so lucky to have Chase in our family. He is a very loving boy who is quick to give hugs. He has proven himself to be quite responsible (when he wants to be) in caring for the animals as well as his siblings. Happy 11th Birthday Chase, we love you!

Chase is looking older, more mature. (I guess that comes with the territory).
I can't believe that I have a grandson that is 11!!! Crazy how time flies on by.
Happy Birthday Chase!
