Trey's Discovery class (gifted & talented) put on an opera for family and friends last week. The kids wrote the words to the opera and the teacher wrote the music. It turned out pretty cute. They called it "Diary of a Whimpy Bee". Trey played the part of a killer bee (with the light sabers).

I must say...I have never heard of an opera performed by 3rd graders.
Trey looked like a "killer" killer bee! That is a great experience for him.
