A boy & his horse

The last couple of weeks Chase has spent a hour or two in the evenings breaking our colt, Ginger. Matt goes out and helps him once he gets home from work. Chase has done a great job so far. Ginger is also doing a great job. It has been fun to see Chase go from being afraid of Ginger to being quite confident around her. Yesterday Chase was able to ride her without Matt leading her. She even turned when Chase pulled the makeshift reins (two lead ropes). Hopefully they will be able to break her well enough that any of the boys can ride her.

Way to go, Chase! When you set your mind to something...you get 'er done!

WOW!!! Looks like it's going great! What a neat thing to do! It looks like he's taking after his dad and his love of animals. :)
