December 2012

December is a favorite month for a lot of us in the family.  We enjoy listening to the songs of the season, baking up goodies to take to neighbors, and the spirit of the Christmas season.  And we can't forget celebrating Chase's birthday!  This year he turned 14!  Yikes!  Where is the time going, seriously?!?!

14 years old means that Chase is no longer a deacon, he is now a teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood.  Grandpa & Grandma Yearsley drove over to support him as he was ordained a teacher.

After making gingerbread houses last year the kids decided that they wanted to add it to our list of December traditions.  So this was our second year of gingerbread houses.

The finished projects....

The kids munched on the gingerbread houses over the next few days until things got too stale for them to even want to eat.

I will end this post with some random pictures and will pick up the next post with Christmas.
