He has also found his tongue and now sticks it out all the time. The boys like to stick their tongues out at him and have him stick his out at them. It is a fun game for all of them!
Chase found out today that he qualifies for our school district's Higly Capable (HiCap) Program. He is really excited to be able to take part in this. Every Monday he will go to his HiCap class where they stress thinking skills, library skills, researchs kills, communications skills, and math skills. We are hoping that with the HiCap and the dual language program that Chase will be able to excel in his learning. He is a smart kid! He is pretty proud of himself because he finished reading his first "big" chapter book. He read Savage Sam. It has been good for him.
I taught Layton's preschool class today. Can we say CRAZINESS!? There were 12-three and four year old kids running around my house today. We learned about the letter E and the numbers 3 and 4. I think they had a good time. We made elephant paper bag puppets, glued googly-eyes on the letter E, and glued pretzels under the numbers 3 and 4. I have to admit that I am glad that I only have to do this one more time this year.
