Ouch!

Monday I got a call from the school nurse, Chase had fallen at recess and hurt his leg. All I could think was "Oh no. Now he broke his leg...what next!?" Matt was on his way home for lunch so I called him and asked him to pick up Chase. Chase was in a LOT of pain so we decided we better take him into the clinic. We had to use a wheelchair to get him into the clinic because he couldn't walk and it hurt him so bad for us to help him hobble in.

The doctor took a look at him and decided that Chase pulled one of his quadriceps. We were surprised that the DR didn't even X-Ray the leg...considering how easily Chase seems to break bones. But he was confident that it wasn't broken. The Dr. did say that if he is still on pain come Monday that we need to take him back in to be checked out further. Chase was told to do lots of ice and rest. So heis living his dream....laying on the couch, watching TV all day. He was in quite a bit of pain the first night but he seems to be doing better. He has to use crutches to get around but is doing well manuerving around with them. It will be interesting to see how he does at Mama and Papa's house over Thanksgiving.

I am grateful for the good job that Matt has that allows for me to be able to stay home with our boys. There is no other place I would rather be. We are so grateful for the great friends and family that we have been blessed with. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
