Today has been a really rainy day. We need the moisture but I really don't like days like this. They are depressing. Matt spent most of the day helping a family move into our neighborhood. He said it was quite the experience. The boys were a little disappointed that they didn't get to spend more time with their dad today.

One of the "joys" of having so many males in the house is that I get the "priviledge" of cutting their hair. It is not my favorite thing to do at all, but if they were to go to the salon it would break us. They all need haircuts about every 3-4 weeks. Those weeks go by too quickly (for all of us). So tonight all the guys in the house (minus Zander) got their haircut. It was such a fun experience (not really....although today was better than most)! Layton was screaming at me telling me that he didn't want to be bald. I had told him earlier in the day that I was going to cut all his hair off as a joke (my mistake). Needless to say, we were able to get everyone's haircut for another 3 weeks.



The last couple of days Layton, Zander, and I will go on a walk around the fields near our house. It is a fun way for us to get out of the house and me to get some much needed exercise. So Zander gets all bundled up in his "eskimo outfit" and covered in a blanket. Layton likes to pick weeds and drag them on the ground. Yesterday we got rained on but neither of the boys seemed to mind.
