New Years

We spent New Year's Eve with Grandpa and Grandma Yearsley. We spent the evening eating yummy food (breadsticks, pizza, spinach dip, candy, etc) and playing games. We turned on the TV when it came time for the ball to drop and then rang in the New Year with sparkling cider. The kids braved the cold to go outside and light sparklers and spray silly string at each other. Then the kids settled down to watch a movie. Matt and I went to bed but I guess the kids were up until after 2:00 am! I think next year we will trick the boys and watch the ball drop on Eastern Time so they can have a decent bedtime.

New Year's Day the kids again braved the bitter cold and went for a snowmobile ride with grandpa. Brrr. Due to the extreme cold the traditional pinata was done inside and everyone got a chance (adults included). I wish I had a video of Matt crazily attacking the pinata. It was awesome! We finished of the day with our traditional burrito dinner. It was a great day! It is so nice to live close enough to family to be able to make quick trips like this.

Hey Janae! Thanks for your Christmas picture of your boys!! It is so awesome!! It sounds like your holidays were fun filled and exciting! Ours were really good too! How are you guys? I sure miss ya! Any New Years resolutions? Mine is of course to lose some weight and get in the habit to exercise daily before I get pregnant again! I'm having a hard time starting though! Any advice? LOL! {HUG}
