After postponing McKay's blessing the last week of December due to bad weather we were finally able to have him blessed this past Sunday, January 4th. Thankfully, the roads were good and the skies were clear although the air was bitter cold. Most of Matt's family was there (we missed you Jonny, Dustan and Candace) and I was surprised to have all of my family there (Derek and Julie were bumped off their flight home that day). Back in November Matt and I went shopping at Sears for a blessing outfit. We found one we liked and were prepared to pay the ticket price of $49.99. However, we were surprised to find it ring up for $12.99. I was so excited to get it for such a great deal. I was worried that McKay might not fit in his outfit due to his growth the last two months. I was pleased to find that it fit perfectly and I must say that he looked so handsome!
It was awesome to see the big circle of our brothers and brothers-in-law up in the circle . . . it was quite the circle! McKay started to cry but I guess Matt quickly stuck his knuckle in McKay's mouth to sush him. Matt gave a wonderful blessing. We are so blessed to have little McKay in our family. He is such a sweet little baby.
Afterwards everyone came over to our house for dinner. We had hawaiian haystacks, jello, and a slew of desserts. It was fun to have everyone in our house and break it in. Thank you to everyone that was able to make the drive over and we missed those of you that were unable to make it. Thank you for your love and support.

McKay is getting so big! He definitely looks like a Yearsley boy!! Glad that you are getting settled into your new place. Hope to see you guys again sometime soon.
He was so good. Slept through most of the party afterwards.
Oh Janae, he is absolutely adorable, lucky bargain find on his darling blessing outfit! I love big families, especially when they can all come to special events like blessings, baptisms, etc. I hope all is going good!! Miss you and LOL!
Ahhh...Such sweet pictures.
What a cutie.
Wow! It is still hard to believe that you have 5 boys! (& you are doing such a great job with them)
