New Trick!! :(
I was hoping that I wouldn't have another climber like Layton was. Although Zander has always liked to climb onto the table, up into his highchair, and onto the stove so I guess I should have known. He climbs up on EVERYTHING now. He gets on the barstools and up onto the counters and sneaks into whatever he can. He drags chairs everywhere to aid in climbing to the top of things. The other day I was on the phone and heard him saying "stuck". Sure enough he had gotten up on the window sill and couldn't figure out how to get downAnd his latest accomplishment . . . escaping his crib!!! EEK! He is my first kid to climb out of the crib and I am NOT ready for this. I am crossing my fingers that this won't affect nap time (he is such a good napper). I guess this means it is time for a "big boy" bed. My baby is growing up.*sniff*

Hate to say it...but you got a child just like you were. (I honestly don't think that I wished it upon you)
You were climbing out of the crib at 14 months old and climbing into your baby sister's cradle. Nothing stopped you, Janae... and it looks like nothing is going to stop Zander. I feel/know your pain.
Hee hee !!! Yippee for you! Although I am sorry, cause it does make you have to REALLY watch everything! Good luck with that one!

That is so crazy! That window sill picture reminded me of Trevor...that is how he broke his leg.
Oh No! I'm so sorry you have to transition into a big boy bed before YOU are ready! Grace is still in her crib - thankfully!
I completly understand what you are going through. Jaren is the same way. How do we keep them small?
