New Trick!! :(

I was hoping that I wouldn't have another climber like Layton was. Although Zander has always liked to climb onto the table, up into his highchair, and onto the stove so I guess I should have known. He climbs up on EVERYTHING now. He gets on the barstools and up onto the counters and sneaks into whatever he can. He drags chairs everywhere to aid in climbing to the top of things. The other day I was on the phone and heard him saying "stuck". Sure enough he had gotten up on the window sill and couldn't figure out how to get downAnd his latest accomplishment . . . escaping his crib!!! EEK! He is my first kid to climb out of the crib and I am NOT ready for this. I am crossing my fingers that this won't affect nap time (he is such a good napper). I guess this means it is time for a "big boy" bed. My baby is growing up.*sniff*

mmm....peaches!

One of Zander's favorite tricks is climbing onto everything . . . especially the dining table. He pushes the chairs out and climbs right on up. I have a bowl full of peaches and pears for the centerpiece of the table. Yesterday while I was on the phone Zander climbed up onto the table (no surprise there) and helped himself to one of the peaches. He had eaten HALF of the peach before I realized. He was so proud of himself! He seemed to really enjoy having his OWN peach!
