Poor Layton just can't catch a break this summer. Yesterday Matt asked him to move something and wouldn't you know it there were hornets on it. One came at Latyon stinging him under the right eye. Unfortunately he is like his mom and had a slight allergy to them and has swollen up pretty good. He looks like a completely different little boy. It reminds me of the movie "Pure Luck" when Martin Short's character gets stung and he swells up like crazy (funny show by the way). It is hard not to laugh when we look at him but at the same time we feel so bad for him. It looks like it hurts terribly, but he says that it doesn't . . . his cheek just feels tight and his neck itches. It amazes me that an insect so small can do so much damage. I am grateful that he is not more allergic than he is.

oh wow!!! It is really hard not to laugh at his poor little cheeks! Poor kid! At least he's a tough one!

Oh my goodness! That looks terrible. Poor guy. It IS amazing how it changes his entire look.
Dad & Jeff were both stung by a wasp and commented on how much it hurt. Dad thinks they are more potent this year.
oh my gosh that poor kid. I have never seen a kid balloon up like that. that is just crazy.
