Layton celebrated a big birthday on May 19th . . . he turned EIGHT!! It is hard to believe that he is already eight. Time seems to be going by faster and faster now. For his birthday dinner Layton requested spaghetti pie, pistachio salad, and sliced strawberries. His cake request was a chocolate and cookie dough ice cream cake with blue frosting. Yummy! Layton got a lot of nice things for his birthday a shirt, $, a new church shirt with tie, legos, K'nex roller coaster, candy, dart gun, and Wii nerf game.
The day after his birthday he had friends over for a party. It was pure insanity . . . 13 boys (my 6 included) in our house was a bit much. The boys decorated cupcakes, played dart guns, a ballon popping game, pin the tail on the donkey, and played outside. I completely forgot to take pictures of all the craziness...er, I mean, FUN! I think that Layton had a good birthday, at least I hope he did.

He is such a good helper and is always willing to help me out in the kitchen. He is also good to play with his little brothers. Happy Birthday Layton, we love you!
