Zander was lucky and got to celebrate his birthday at the Yearsley family reunion. When I asked him what he wanted for his cake he said cupcakes with blue frosting. We took the cupcakes unfrosted and then frosted them Sunday morning. Cami and Jenna had fun helping me by putting the sprinkles on the cupcakes. Zander got to open his presents from grandpa and grandma and his aunt and uncles.
Monday, the day after his birthday, we celebrated as a family. He requested meatloaf and "white trees" with the "white stuff" (broccoli and cauliflower salad). After dinner Zander got to open some more presents--a frog pillow pet (he had been asking for one since Christmas), Thomas the train pjs, and Pop the Pig. Then a few days later he got a package in the mail with even more presents to open from Papa & Mama.
We are so blessed to have Zander in our family. He has such a fun personality. He is always ready with a smile and a hug. He loves to play with his brothers and work alongside his dad. He can be shy at times, and quite talkative at others. He loves to color and gets frustrated when he goes out of the lines just the slightest little bit. Our family definitely would not be the same without our Zan Man. Happy Birthday buddy....we love you!
