It is hard to believe yet another year has come to an end. 2011 was full of really good things for our family as well as some challenges, but overall it was a great year! Unforunately Matt had to work New Year's Eve, but did get to finally come home around 9 pm or so. It was a pretty low-key night with a few snacks and some game time. Zander and McKay got to join in the festivities until pretty late (around 11) with the promise they could have "special drink" the next day. There was no way that they could have made it to midnight...Matt and I weren't sure we would make it to midnight. A couple minutes before midnight the TV was turned on so we could watch the ball drop and yell Happy New Year and drink sparkling cider.
I look forward to what this new year has in store for our family!
