This year we were in Boise for Halloween to celebrate my dad's birthday. We had yummy brunch with the family that is near (miss you Derek and Julie). Then later in the afternoon we went to Jill and Ryan's house for spaghetti dinner. After dinner all the kids got dressed in their costumes and we headed over to Jill and Ryan's ward trunk-or-treat. Afterwards we went back to their house while the kids went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. The three older boys were excited to be able to go door-to-door to get candy....this was their first year of this kind of trick-or-treating and they got a lot of candy. Matt dressed up as a scarecrow with a HUGE pumpkin head and sat on the porch scaring trick-or-treaters and their parents. It was SO funny to watch that. He got some of the adults pretty good! It was a fun weekend! Keep an eye out for the next post on McKay's 1st birthday which was also Halloween.
