Pumpkin carving, etc

I am a bit behind in posting this, but I watned to document it so I am posting it anyway....better late than never. Halloween week was a busy one so pumpkin carving was a last minute thing (Thursday night around 8 pm) so Zander and McKay were unable to take part as they were already in bed. If it had been up to me we probably wouldn't have carved pumpkins at all seeing that it is NOT my favorite thing at all, but the boys love doing it so we did. We grew our own pumpkins this year and got quite a few. We would have had more but the turkeys got into the garden and ate at least 3 pumpkins, our biggest ones.

Earlier during the week our ward had a Trunk-or-Treat. We were told to decorate the trunks so Matt and the boys did a quick 10 minute decorating job. I think it turned out really good...especially for the little time it took. However, it ended up being too cold so the "trunk-or-treat" was held in the primary room.
Matt and the boys before heading out to the ward party. Isn't he a cutie?!?! Zander and McKay were both sick so they had to stay home and miss out on the fun! :(

Looks like the boys had a very fun Halloween. Love their costumes! Too bad Zander and McKay were sick, it's a bad time of year for sickness.
