Pumpkin Night 2011

We celebrated our annual Pumpkin Night October 24. The evening started out with a dinner of Cheese Ravioli in pumpkin alfredo sauce (so yummy), salad, garlic bread, and pickled beets. Then began the fun of gutting and carving the pumpkins. Everyone except Declan had their own pumpkin. It was fun to see what each kid decided to carve. After carving and clean up we decorated pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies. It was a fun, messy night!

I love reading your blog! To be honest, my husband and I would love to live where we have more open space and could give our kids some good country livin'. Someday. Your blog is like a breath of fresh air for me! And, by the way, the pumpkin alfredo ravioli sounds yummy. Could I get the recipe?
