September 2012

Mud Fight!  What is it with boys and mud?  After the garden got watered the first Saturday afternoon in September the boys got into a mud fight.  What a mess, but they had a blast!  Zander didn't care much for the spray with the water hose to clean off--it was cold.  Ah, how I love well water! :)
Hmm...I think Chase might have dished out more than he got!
 Layton showing off the damage
Could you tell this was Trey?  Crazy...looks nothing like him!
Zander stayed out of the thick of it, but wasn't safe enough to avoid the cold hose in order to set foot in the house

The day Keely and I came home from the hospital the boys decided to have a fish fry.  It was a bit overwhelming for me, to say the least, but the boys had fun cooking up all the fish that had caught this summer.

I wrote about the birth of Keely, but here are some pictures of her (& the fam) during her first month.  We love her so much!

Football, football, and more football!!!  The months of September and October were full of football, Monday through Saturday.  I so enjoy watching the boys play football....even if it is at a freezing cold morning game or an even colder and windier night game.  I like to see them have fun.  To succeed.  To see their confidence grow.
Chase played on the 8th grade team for West Minico.  Again, he was one of the tallest and biggest players on the team.  He played Tight End and Defensive End.  He made 1 touchdown and a TON of tackles.

Trey played Running Back, Defensive End and Tackle.  He was quite the little star this year making 1 interception and scoring about 17 touchdowns.

Layton played for the first time this year and while he didn't have the best coach yet he still had fun.  Especially after he become the center--meaning he got to hike the ball to the QB.  He did such a great job in this position!

Declan had fun putting on the boys' football gear.  The helmets were so heavy they usually made him topple over. :)

Although she never got out of the car seat or Moby wrap, Keely was the boys' biggest cheerleader
